About Us

We are a small company based in Wilmington in East Sussex, England. 
 We provide a variety of construction services with a focus on 
 construction of basements for new homes and retrofitting basements 
 to existing homes.  We also renovate and improve existing cellars by
 performing modifications such as deepening and waterproofing.

As well as basements, we construct equestrian riding arenas, stables,
portable field shelters, workshops and agricultural buildings.

The company was founded by Greg Meyer who has 15 years  
 experience in the USA in underground and general residential
 construction.  Prior to embarking on this enterprise Greg Meyer
 worked as a veterinarian specializing in equine surgery.
 While planning construction of a new home, a niche was discovered
 in the UK construction market for specialty basement construction.
 This discovery combined with "burnout" from the veterinary 
 profession, sparked an idea, that led to the formation of this company.

While the construction business may seem a radical shift from 
veterinary medicine, many of the disciplines required to perform
successful surgery such as planning, precision, organization, and 
attention to detail, are also those required of a quality builder.

We possess the skills of "good ole American ingenuity" with an 
appreciation of traditional English craftsmanship combined with 
the meticulous approach of a surgeon.  We feel this combination 
results in work that will exceed your expectations.
