Welcome to our earthworks section.

We are available for a variety of earthmoving tasks. From simple small jobs like 
garden grading and foundation excavations to pond construction, agricultural drainage  
or utility work.

All of our equipment is supplied with a certified and experienced operator.

13 tonne steel tracked 360 degree excavator.  -  £280 per day - £150 per 1/2 day
3 tonne rubber tracked 360 degree excavator.  -  £220 per day - £120 per 1/2 day
JCB two wheel drive 180 degree backhoe/loader.  -  £220 per day - £120 per 1/2 day
4 tonne steel tracked loading shovel (caterpillar).  -  £210 per day - £115 per 1/2 day

The above prices are inclusive of VAT.  Work performed on new home construction
is zero VAT rated.  VAT will be deducted for this type of work. 
Minimum charge is for 1/2 day.  All prices include fuel/lubricants and tea.

Transport of equipment to an from the job site is charged at 70 pence per mile 
inclusive of VAT.  VAT will be deducted for transport performed in conjunction
with zero rated projects such as new home construction.

One day is defined as 8 hours on site between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.  Transport time is 
considered separate and is not included in the 8 hour on site time period.  
For site work performed outside 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, a 25% surcharge is levied for the hours worked
"out of hours" unless prior arrangements are made.  If greater than 8 hours on site is required per day, 
a surcharge of 25% is levied for all hours over the standard 8 hour period.
